Marc Beerman
Marc practices primarily in the areas of family law and residential and commercial real estate matters. Marc works closely with individuals and families to guide them through important legal decisions, whether they involve complex family issues or significant real estate transactions.
Marc earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1994 and received his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in 2002. While attending DePaul, he obtained a Certificate in Family Law and worked as a real estate closer for Attorney’s Title Guaranty Fund, Inc. (now Advocus Title), gaining valuable experience in residential real estate transactions.
Following law school, Marc joined Beermann Law Group, Ltd., where he practiced for more than two decades. During that time, he worked alongside his father, Jon L. Beermann, and later assumed leadership of the firm, continuing its long-standing practice in family law and real estate matters. Marc managed the firm for more than ten years before merging the practice with Wifler Law Group to form Wifler Beermann & Bilsky.
Today, Marc continues to represent clients throughout Lake, Cook, and McHenry Counties in Illinois. He approaches each matter with a practical, results-focused mindset and understands that family law and real estate matters often involve both financial and personal considerations. Marc works closely with his clients to help them achieve fair and efficient resolutions.
Marc is a member of the Lake County Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Lake County Association of Women Attorneys.
